BAFTA 2024: Οι υποψηφιότητες
Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των φετινών βραβείων BAFTA με την ταινία του Κρίστοφερ Νόλαν «Οppenheimer» να κερδίζει τις περισσότερες, 13 στον αριθμό, ανάμεσά τους και εκείνες για την Καλύτερη Ταινία και Σκηνοθεσία.

Το «Poor Things» του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου συγκέντρωσε 11 υποψηφιότητες συνολικά, κερδίζοντας και από μια για Καλύτερη Βρετανική Ταινία και Καλύτερη Ταινία, αλλά αφήνοντας τον Λάνθιμο εκτός από την σκηνοθεσία. Ο ίδιος ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος είναι όμως υποψήφιος αφού συμμετέχει στην παραγωγή της ταινίας. Υποψήφιος είναι και ο Γιώργος Μαυροψαρίδης στην κατηγορία του μοντάζ.
Τα «Killers of the flower moon» και «Ζone of interest» έλαβαν από εννέα υποψηφιότητες η κάθεμια τους, με την Σάντρα Χούλερ να έχει δυο υποψηφιότητες, μια για Β’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο για την ταινία του Γκλέιζερ και μια για Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο για την «Ανατομία Μιας Πτώσης». Τα «Holdovers» και «Maestro» έχουν επίσης επτά υποψηφιότητες, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της Καλύτερης Ταινίας.
Η τελετή απονομής των βραβείων της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου για το 2024 θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 18 Φεβρουαρίου με παρουσιαστή τον Ντέιβιντ Τέναντ. Αναλυτικά οι υποψηφιότητες:
