Best 2023: 158 κριτικοί ψηφίζουν τα καλύτερα της χρονιάς
Το IndieWire απευθύνθηκε σε 158 κριτικούς κινηματογράφου απ’όλον τον κόσμο και δημοσιεύει τις αντίστοιχες λίστες που προέκυψαν για καλύτερες ταινίες, ερμηνείες, σκηνοθεσίες, σενάρια και ντεμπούτα του 2023.

Πρόκειται για την καθιερωμένη, ετήσια ψηφοφορία του, με την συμμετοχή κριτικών κινηματογράφου από Ευρώπη, Αφρική, Ασία και Μέση Ανατολή, με τον όρο να ψηφίσουν ταινίες που έκαναν πρεμιέρα σε αίθουσα ή VOD στην Β. Αμερική μέσα στο 2023.
Στην κορυφή της λίστας ως καλύτερη ταινία της χρονιάς, βρέθηκε το "Killers of the flower moon" του Μάρτιν Σκορσέζε (σε μια δεκάδα χωρίς την παραμικρή έκπληξη), ο οποίος αναδείχθηκε και κορυφαίος σκηνοθέτης της χρονιάς, ενώ η Έμμα Στόουν ψηφίστηκε ως η καλύτερη ερμηνεία της χρονιάς, στο "Poorr Things" του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου.
